Life is a series of battles, obstacles, difficulties, challenges, and tough times. No one is immune to life’s stresses and tough times. Some times the wrong choices we make bring us pain and suffering. The storms of life are just like hurricanes – they tend to arrive with unnerving regularity. They often strike without warning and linger without welcome, testing the limits of our faith and endurance. We also have the aftermath to deal with. Like tidal waves, trials and tough times come and go, but we must never give up because there is HOPE and BETTER days lie ahead! Our God of hope has great plans for you “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep hope alive by remembering this acronym,
H– Heed what you already know, be a doer of God’s word.
O– Open your eyes and ears, look and listen.
P– Pursue a godly lifestyle.
E– Expect Christ’s return.
Never give up because your challenges will not last forever, suffering is temporal. “Tough times never last, only tough people do.” Your tunnel may be dark and long, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hold on to hope, look to Jesus, He is able to carry you through. Amen! Never give up because your tough experiences are” just a bump in the road not the end of the road.”
My life is a living testimony of the fact that better days lie ahead when we put our faith and trust in Almighty God. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalms 30:5). There is a silver-lining in the clouds of your adversity – this is GOOD NEWS, but you’ve got to face the clouds in order to find your silver-lining.
We often hear people say that they are “going through stuff ” yes we go through “stuff ” therefore we should never give up, instead we should move on in spite of our challenges because Almighty God reigns Supreme! You’ve got the power, God is your source He can make a way when there is no way. Call upon God, ask Him to help you. We are never outside the radar of God’s love and care. “When hurt, lonely, or discouraged, Jesus knows it. Our cries of grief are beacons that bring Him to our side- right where we need Him most.”
Spring is here, now is the time to put some spring in your steps, don’t let your challenges get you down instead rise up to your challenge and build your life with the bricks it throws at you, use them as stepping stones to greater success. “Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity.” Never give up because you can walk in Hope, Faith, and Victory everyday through the power of the Holy Ghost, Amen and Amen!
