In Matthew 28: 5-6 we read “And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” He is risen, this is a statement of good news and a message of Life, Hope and Victory! Thanks be to God for the mighty victory He wrought on the cross of Calvary through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He paid the ultimate price for our sins in other to redeem us. At Easter we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and the grace and salvation He purchased for us through His blood. The resurrection power is not just an event in history; it should be a daily experience for us.
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23. “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15. This free gift of salvation is yours for the asking. Praise The Lord! Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. We read in John 1:4, “In Him was life and the life was the light of men.” Why grope in darkness when you can have the light of life? Let the SON shine in! “He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Why settle for less when you can have the very best?
Jesus Christ rose again! Death and the grave could not hold Him back. He conquered death and the grave, He is risen and He is alive forever more. Satan and all the forces of darkness cannot thwart the plan and purpose of God for your life. Christ in us is our hope of glory. Maybe today life’s experience is taking you through the valley, I encourage you to keep on trusting, as nothing can separate you from God’s love. Better days lie ahead. Almighty God is able to roll away the stone or obstacle in your life today. He can make a way for you. We have Victory over our daily challenges through the power of the resurrection. Happy Easter!
