The strength to move on in spite of our challenges comes from Almighty God. He is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea (Psalm 46 v 1-2). The Lord renews our strength as we wait upon Him, hallelujah! We are never alone in our tough times, challenges or difficulties God is with us. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us and nothing can separate us from His love, take comfort and strength from these truths. Yes you can weather life’s storms, “ride the waves,” and “walk on the water” of the storms in your life by the special grace and power of Almighty God.
We also need to put our trust in God for the arm of flesh will fail us. God is Sovereign our limitations do not limit God, He is able to turn things around in our favor. The issue is not how big our problem is, but the real issue is our failure to recognize how great our God is. The assurance of God’s love, presence, and power gives us strength to move on. “In His presence there is fullness of joy and joy of the Lord is our strength.”
Don’t allow fear, depression or negative emotions take hold of your life, but instead take hold of Almighty God, be optimistic as some challenges are usually not as bad as they seem.
Keep things in perspective life is not a snap shot, consider the bigger picture, pray read God’s word and be thankful. Reflect on what God has done for you in the past as you count your blessings your joy will multiply. Look for opportunities to serve the Lord and help others, you will certainly find joy and contentment in serving the Lord. Connect with people who inspire and encourage you, remember that other people have gone through what you are experiencing at this time. The Easter message is about life, hope, and victory. The resurrection power is not just an event in history, it should be a daily experience for us. Stay connected to Almighty God the source of your strength, power and victory!
